Julie was born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona where she is a graduate of Arizona State University with a bachelors of Science in Design and Secondary Education. She has over 30 years dance experience in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, lyrical, hip hop and Pom. Julie is a veteran UDA Head Instructor for High School and College Camps and is a choreographer for high school, Elite, and College Camp Material for the past 15 years. Julie has performed and assisted for domestic and international dance performances including the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon, Los Angeles, Hollywood Parade, Paris and London New Year's Day Parades. She is a veteran judge for the UDA College, USA Spirit Nationals and the National Dance Team Championship seen on ESPN as well as several State Dance Team Competitions across the country. Julie has coached and choreographed for nationally and state ranked High School and College teams including Desert Mountain High School and Horizon High School in Arizona for the past 14 years. She was also a former Representative for Co. Dance and Starlight Productions. Currently, Julie is the State Director for UDA in Arizona, Colorado, Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas. After finishing her first season with the Arizona State Sun Devil Dance Team, she looks forward to returning for another wonderful year!
